OWNER

Rob Oakes graduated from York Technical College in 1983. He started with Waldrop Supply Company in 1984 and then created Oakes Appliance in February of 1990. He changed the name from Oakes Appliance to Oakes Appliance & Refrigeration Service, Inc. in 1997. He merged with Frank’s Appliance Parts in 2002 and began the Parts Sales side of Oakes Appliance. We moved to our current location at 1146 E. White St. in 2007 where we are open from 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Rob believes in the motto: “Treat Others As You Would Like To Be Treated”, and his main goal is to treat customers with the utmost respect and provide the best customer service possible!

How long have you been servicing appliances?

People often ask, “How long have you been servicing appliances?” When we tell them 28 years, most people are in awe! Our answer is simple, “We are committed to the people and I want my parents to be proud!” Our main objective is to keep Oakes Appliance going for another 28 years!
